The Death of an Eclipse
So...

I got the unfortunate news today from my insurance company that my vehicle is now a total loss.

They said they did not see it at first but my frame is twisted and can not be repaired.

SOOOOOOOOO...

I am now in the market for a new car. I was thinking about getting the same car...BUT....I have been informed by several satisfied buyers that I should purchase a HONDA.

This is the Honda I was researching..

This car cost way more than my eclipse. I have heard that the reason a HONDA costs more is due to the fact that they are a better vehicle.

I'm open to any suggestions at this point.

Honda is an awesome brand! I've been driving Hondas since I learned how to drive with the Civics. I've owned three (1997 DX, 2002 EX and now the 2005 SI). They're great cars, very reliable, fuel effient and from the impacts I've had, they held up great.

Now there is also the VW Rabbits. Selina has one and they're ultra safe cars with a few more safety features too. My only complaint is that maintenance is expensive (70+ for oil changes X_x).

yeah VW are very unfriendly cars to work on.. your average redneck cant afford the $90 socket wrench to undo the oil pan or other weird ass component. i love american cars because they are simple but they just dont make em like they used to.

Hondas tend to last longer, and you should never go to a dealership to change your oil in the first place. our civic has never had one problem and it's got twice as many miles on as it should (forget exact number of miles)

i only buy Honda or Toyota. Ive owned 2 Hondas (remeber my first Civic hatchback with all the bumper stickers!!?)- both Civics; and 3 Toyotas (Tundra, Matrix, and Corolla)

i would recommend anything else. both keep their resale value and are excellent reliable vehicles.

the Honda your looking at is badass.
