And rediscovering my addiction. I need a new dance pad though.

I want one of those super cool hard dance pads that don't move all around.

I also feel that, I do not have as much fun as I used to in life. I guess I do take things too seriously. I need to revert back to my old mind set. For everyone's sake.

The 1st rule of DDR is:
You DO NOT TALK ABOUT IT.

The 2nd rule of DDR is:
YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT IT.

The 3rd rule of DDR is:
If it's your 1st time, YOU GOTTA DANCE!

so true. so who wants to hang out and play some DDR?!!?

I can spend an entire day lost in thought. Chronic Day Dreamer. Surrounded by things to do, and compelled to do nothing unless I'm INSPIRED. (This could also mean that I suffer from ADD. haha)

2. I photograph EVERYTHING. I feel that every part of my existence should be documented. (However, I can only do it when inspired, see above)

3. Some nights when I am overly stressed, I drive down to the beach. Take off my shoes, and walk into the ocean. I stand there for an hour or so staring into the waves. It helps me remember how small my existence is, and all the problems and stress...DISAPPEAR.

4. I like to go through magazines and cut out all the cool images and sayings. I then put them in an envelope and store them away, eventually.... (when I feel inspired, haha) I make them into a collage.

5. I don't stay current on any political events. I do not watch the news (i hate that show), read the newspaper, or listen to the radio. I like to stay cut off from the brain washing. Besides, it is usually all depressing and I like to keep that stuff far away from my thoughts. (People have to call me and tell me when hurricanes are coming...hah)

6. I have never been interested in any sports growing up...I would call out sick just in time to miss P.E. class. I have always been more of an intellectual than physical person. The only sport like activity I adore is SWIMMING. (Though I do not have a pool :( ] I have actually attempted to get in a pool at a friend's house in below 50 degree weather, just so I could swim. No one thought I would do it. I was like "It will be fine once I adjust..." hahah YEAH RIGHT.. it felt like a bathtub full of ice cubes! I lasted less than 5 minutes.

7. I collect stuff. haha.. I would not say I am as bad as my Grandmother (she is a pack rat) But, I do like to be surrounded by beautiful things that INSPIRE me. (again see #1) My collecting includes: dolls, clothes, art, dvds, animals, ect.. there may be more.

WELL...there are 7 things about me. also, if anyone I did not tag wants to respond feel free >_*

Another great new 'Lost Boys 2: The Tribe' image has hit the web courtesy of Shock Til You Drop. Lost Boys 2 is the eagerly anticipated sequel to the 1987 teen vampire flick that starred the 'Coreys'!

The sequel stars Tad Hilgenbrink, Autumn Reeser, Angus Sutherland, Corey Feldman, Jamison New Lander, Corey Haim, Tom Savini, Moneca Delain and Gabrielle Rose. And of course Corey Feldman and Corey Haim!

It will hit the DVD shelves this Summer.

Plot Summary: The sequel is set in the shady surf city of Luna Bay, California, where vampires quickly dispatch anyone who crosses their path. Into this dark world arrive Chris Emerson and his younger sister, Nicole. Having just lost their parents in a car accident, the siblings move in with their eccentric Aunt Jillian and become new prey for the locals' way of life. When Nicole unwittingly falls for a local vampire, Chris must locate and destroy the gang's lifeline before his sister's transformation is complete; to do this Chris finds himself relying on the expertise of none other than Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman). Subtle references to characters from the original film, and cameos from returning actors offer homage to the Lost Boys legend and set a sinister tone of impending doom.

Taken from : Horror-Asylum.com

I used to have a big crush on the Corey's when I was growing up. Hoping that Lost Boys 2 will not kill part 1.

<3

The Blythe doll is based on the art work of Margaret Keane.

Today fans of Blythe customize her clothes, hair and make-up for fun. Hobbyists also take pictures of their Blythes in a variety of settings, showcasing their sewing and customization skills. Blythe is stylish, smart and sophisticated, reflecting the dreams of her owners.

Blythe (pronounced [blaɪθ]) is a doll created in 1972 by designer Allison Katzman with the now-defunct U.S. toy company Kenner. Reportedly, she was modelled after drawings by Margaret Keane, similarly to many other dolls of the '60s and '70s. Her most distinctive and notable feature were eyes that changed color with the pull of a string attached to the back of her head. Due to a lack of interest, Blythe dolls were only sold for one year in the U.S. (produced in Hong Kong), during 1972.
Petite Blythe dolls are four inches tall and an economical and aesthetic alternative to Neo Blythes
Petite Blythe dolls are four inches tall and an economical and aesthetic alternative to Neo Blythes

Thirty years after her first release date, Blythe regained popularity. In 1997, New York TV and video producer Gina Garan was given a 1972 Kenner Blythe by a friend and began using it to practice her photographic skills. She began taking her Blythe everywhere with her and took hundreds of photos. Then, in 1999, a chance encounter with CWC's Junko Wong brought Blythe to the attention of Parco and toy executives. In 2002, Gina published her first book of Blythe photography with Chronicle Books, This is Blythe. Later that year, Hasbro (the Trademark and License owner) gave Takara of Japan a license to produce the New Edition of Blythe (NEO Blythe). Blythe was used in a television advertising campaign by the Parco department store in Japan and was an instant hit. Success in Japan led Hasbro to issue a license to Ashton Drake Galleries (ADG)to produce Blythe exclusively in the U.S., where the doll become a niche product in a marginal market, selling largely to adults.

In 2003 Blythe was the subject in a segment on the popular VH1 special, I Love the 70s, where she was said to look like either "Barbie with elephantiasis" or "Christina Ricci" among other things.

In 2004, the Ashton-Drake Galleries began to produce their own Blythe replica dolls in the United States.

A vibrant Blythe subculture flourishes on the Internet, predominantly in forums and user groups. There is a large network of hobbyists who customise the doll for resale, people who create unique clothing and shoes, as well as accessories specifically for Blythe.

There are two types of Blythe dolls: the 28cm (1/6th scale) "NEO" and the 11.2 cm "Petit Blythe." Only NEO Blythes have colour-changing eyes, which include the colours blue, green, orange, and pink (except for cases with limited-edition dolls). Newer releases of the Petit Blythe dolls have moveable eyelids and bendable bodies.

A smaller Kubrick version of Blythe also exists.

The measurements of Blythe: 4.17-2.76-3.89 (in inches) or 106-70-99 (in mm). The measurements of Petit Blythe: 1.77-1.18-16.5 (in inches) or 45-30-42 (in mm).

Blythe dolls are collectors items, and are not a childrens toy; it is NOT recommended for small children. Blythe dolls range in price (at release date) from USD$60 (ADG versions) upwards of USD$300 (limited edition NEOs). Older dolls are sought after in the collectors market, and can sell for as high as several thousand dollars for a Kenner to a thousand dollars or more for the first edition NEO.

LINKS:

The Valley of the Dolls (Where I purchased my Blythe)

Toy Tokyo

Magic Pony

Hobby Link Japan

Beans Gifts and Toys
Nasty Nip

Collectibles Today (Available in 4 Installments!)

Dollmore

This is Blythe
